What’s a young adult?
Most organizations define AYA cancer (adolescent & young adult) as someone who was diagnosed between the ages of 18 and 39. However, we don’t accept that the impact of cancer can be confined to these boundaries. Whether you’re a pediatric survivor who is now navigating adulthood, or you are in your 40s and still learning to live with or after cancer, you are welcome here.
What’s the group like?
This is a supportive (social) group where you can meet some great young adults who have or have had cancer. Sometimes we talk about cancer, sometimes we talk about Taylor Swift, sometimes we talk about books, the topic of discussion varies based on the mood – this is not a guided discussion group.
